We’ve had a busy last few days. On Sunday we had a lovely dinner with Pete, Heather and boys and Laura. Laura is our daughter’s childhood friend, and she is going to Hong Kong in a few weeks. She is a teacher. It was fun getting caught up with her. Then for supper we had our “small group” over for Navajo Tacos. Pete and family stayed for that also. So we had two couples from our small group, our houseguest, and family. It was a lot of fun. It was Suzanne and Albert’s first time to have Navajo tacos. Then the little boys (Daniel and Jonathan spent the night). On Monday, Heather came over and we worked on her dining room chairs. They got another coat of polyurethane and new covers on the seats. We finished them up today,( or almost). I also “helped” the little boys make a Mother’s Day gift for their mom. I also sold three items on Etsy the past few days, so I had to package them and mail them. That is always a nice feeling though, getting them out the door! It rained yesterday and the weather felt like Washington! It makes everything “green-up” so quickly when it rains.
And then today we found out that Erin and Nathan are having a baby girl. We are excited to have two new baby girls join our family. It will sort of even out the boys! So, we will have three granddaughters and four grandsons. ( But who’s counting?)
