Beautiful, beautiful, fall day. The door to the store has been open most of the day..........had to open it when a man walked in leaving a reek of cigarette smoke wafting behind him.........ugh! But, the good, up side of that is that I opened the door, and let in the beautiful day, so there can be a silver lining even to something that doesn't smell so good!

I haven't kept up on my gratitude list very well lately............goodness knows why......so here I go again......(it's a good thing to do a gratitude list when you wonder if there's a whole lot to put on it!)...
A young woman came in the store today and when I told her we were closing, she got very sad. She told me that in her town (Santa Fe), they just don't have antique stores like ours. She then went on to say that when she comes through here on business, she doesn't even bother to go to our "competition" because our store just has a "feel" about it, that the others don't, and well......she just loves our store!
Hot coffee from Durango Joe's brought by my dear husband.
Good conversation with Erin on the phone.
Good sales today at the store.
Interesting conversation with customers today from Kansas, Santa Fe, and southern California.
Cold water to drink.
A good adjustment from Dr. Leahy.
A wonderful morning walk with my husband and dog before work.
The smell of clean sheets last night....I hung them out on the clothesline all day............ummmm...nothing smells better!
French toast for breakfast with real maple syrup and homemade bread!
And since we have four old vehicles, I'm thankful that right now we have two running ok!

And I love the fact that on Mondays I get a "senior" discount at Goodwill! How cool is that? See there are good things to getting older!

I'm grateful for a good laugh.....And for those of you who want a good laugh, you must go read Christopher's blog about a toilet, a stove and a maniac! It's hilarious (typos are free!) Here's the link....
